I rummaged arround in XP to add a printer, found the excito network and there they were! and it works!
So it must be the good karma of the forum. thanks to all

Hello all.
I hope someone can tell me what I am missing.
I am setting up the print server on my new bubba. Everything else seems to be working nicely.
I log in as administrator, go to printing, Bubba sees both my printers (HP 5150 and HP1220 on an un-powered USB hub), I add them, and log out.
