I was wondering if there was any unpacking util that can unpack rar-files installed on the bubba, or if there is one I can install myself. I found one called unp that came recommended, but I couldn't find it in any repositories, so I was wondering if anyone else has a solution.

My powerbrick for the bubba has died. I have verified this by testing my bubba with a powerbrick from a friend's bubba and by checking the little light on the powerbrick when connected to a socket. The brick is dead.

The reason why you can't stream your videos to the PS3 isn't any fault of Bubba's or MediaTomb, it's because the PS3 doesn't support those formats. Here is a list of supported formats, not sure if it is complete though. But as you can see your formats aren't there.
